Meet the E20a/ii. The first in a new series of valve amplifiers from Rogers.
Originally conceived in 1995, the original Rogers E20a's raison d'etre was to drive the Rogers LS3/5a loudspeakers to the highest possible sound quality, perfectly blending the "then" modern digital era with the pure sonics of Class A and valve technology.
Fast forward to 2020 and Rogers have extensively revised the original E20a into the new E20a/ii to perfectly complement the new "Reborn" LS3/5a Classic and LS5/9 Classic loudspeakers.
Based around the existing circuit and Push-Pull 6L6 output valves, the new E20a/ii has an updated circuit design and still operates in pure class A to provide a vivid, dynamic and wholly musical performance.

Non-magnetic aluminium Chassis and lid; minimising eddy currents for improved sound quality
All surfaces are anodised for high quality and long life.
Larger higher quality output transformers deliver increased dynamics and phenomenal bass response.
Silver-plated output speaker terminals ensure optimum signal transfer to loudspeakers.
Gold plated, chassis-mounted phono sockets, hard-wired; for optimum low-level signal transfer.
Hard-wired LCOFC loom ensures the most natural sonic performance.
Decoupled PCB mountings minimise microphonic resonances, improving dynamic response.
High quality selected components for the best possible sound quality and reliability.
18mm thick CNC machined anodised aluminium front panel; for maximum chassis rigidity.
Sleek cosmetic re-design of chassis; for a striking visual appearance.
Remote control provided allows easy volume adjustments.
Available in two versions: Line and Phono.
Faithful to the music
Following such an extensive revision, its no wonder that the new Rogers E20a/ii delivers a simply sublime sonic performance regardless of music genre. Key to its overall performance is preserving the natural structure and tone of the music. A great number of audio products focus on micro detail that they miss the musical message, effectively bleaching it out. The new E20a/ii is natural, dynamic, utterly captivating, with striking visuals to match.
Like the original, the E20a/ii will quickly become a collector's item and enjoyed by music lovers everywhere.
